I’m staring at a few clips from a studio shoot I did in October. Back then, I went out for a drink on a Friday night and saw Hemu playing at the lounge bar. Why not ask him for a quick shoot? 5 days later we were in studio, playing around with a Panasonic P2HD gear, a few microphones with the goal of doing something simple and clean. Nothing fancy. We thought about shooting another song too, in addition to his own one, but when Hemu struck the first chords of a Black Keys song – whaddayaknow, he breaks a string. No spares in his guitar case, so we called it a wrap and went separate ways…
Hemu is currently “working” and enjoying the Alps and he has been reeeeaally patient – the project started fast, but November and December have been a bit cruel for my schedule – practically all my personal stuff has been pushed back, but on the fringe of 2012, I got great hopes for doing the post-processing for the shoot soon.
