I had been thinking about shooting football – and I mean american football, the more interesting one. Winter isn’t exactly the time of year to shoot outdoor sports, especially american football which doesn’t have anything to do with darkness or snow. So as soon as the grass started to get a little greener, I got the final idea, borrowed the helmet and the egg from Henkka, and almost nailed it – I’m not 100% satisfied with this, but also I could’ve kept planning, thinking, adjusting, editing and photoshopping this for ages. I got it done, with no post-processing – sometimes that’s more important than a perfect picture. Tomorrow I’ll be shooting football game for the first time since last September – looking forward to it!
