I thought it would be a normal Thursday evening until Jussi called me and asked if I wanted to come over to his shoot. After I learned that he would be shooting in a bar I had never visited, I was definitely going. Jussi was shooting a couple and I was fiddling around with HD video, and got an idea for a shot. I asked Jussi if I could lend his softbox, and as he was already packing up, he was happy to give it to me for a quick test. Fast setup, couple of test shots, bring the couple in, couple of shots of Jussi too and we thought we’re gonna call it a night.

It wasn’t that simple though! Friends started pouring in, we got excited and started testing different setups, had a few drinks, and we quit just minutes before closing time after hundreds of shots… Call that a normal Thursday! Here you go, the best shots from that night: Bar Soolo shootout.
